Right on. If I don't intend to buy what I'm looking at in a local store, I don't go in and use their time and space. My local store had a problem getting good scanning services so I offered to do it for them. Turned into a good deal for both of us. He got about $6k in profit and I got to see him stay in business. A win-win for both of us. I also got paid a reasonable fee for my time and effort. Sobering news in Chicago today is that Calumet US has ceased operations and shut down for good. A quick call to Calumet UK assures me that they are and will remain open for the foreseeable future. I guess the moral to this store is that if you don't want the last of your camera shops to close their doors, buy from them when you can instead of the faceless places on Amazon and ebay. > > > Hans >
