A very interesting but often seen view of the viaduct.
One guess is that the poles mark the road when the road is not visible, due to darkness, or snow, or whatever. Another guess is they're markers to be left/right avoided in a stress test.
When I first saw this, I thought the dark region was a silhouette of a figure with arms raised. That would fit with the image of something shattered by it. Or, does "meditation" act as the counterpoint to a violent smashup? Anyway, interesting.
Again, the caption provides at least half of the interest. The visual part is nice, though.
