I have been using the Epson R2880 for a number of years, and am happy with
Epson printers, but wish the R3000 had been available as at times I switch
between matt paper (using MK ink) and glossy paper (using PK ink) which
requires me to switch cartridges, at inevitably some cost in wasted ink.
If it had been available at the time I would certainly bought the R3000 as
it has both ink options in place so easy to switch.
It also uses pigment ink which is reportedly more permanent than dye.
Hope this helps,
Jim Thyer
