Seagull: It took me a minute to find the seagull,
but I was drawn to the shapes of the ice and water’s color. The “path” to
the back draws my eye all the way into the photograph. A very peaceful and
relaxing image to study.
Jan FaulPlay ball!: I was first drawn to the figure going
through the door, then the green hose, and finally the legs of the people
sitting in the stands. Then I went back to the figure in the doorway and
saw the baseball uniform. This is a photograph that tells a story and it’s
interesting. It held my attention for some time.

StrevensChristmas in the
wimpy: This photograph was a little confusing at first, then things
started to fall into place. It’s interesting. The item behind the
sundae first looked like a statue of some sort, now I’m guessing it’s a
jacket(?) I like the reds, blues and yellows and the clear, distinct
shapes. Even the silver-colored salt and pepper shakers add
interest.

DavidhazyMarching band; This
doesn’t look antique at all. I’m sure it looks just like the marching
bands I’ll be seeing in the Rose Parade, New Year’s Day here in
California.
Thank you to all who contributed to the
gallery this week. I enjoyed it, and thank you to Andy and staff who
arranged the show.
Merry Christmas and
Happy New Year to all. I hope the New Year brings the best of everything
to you and your loved ones.
