David Dyer-Bennet
Coyote at Minnesota Zoo:  I like this shot.  Every hair is visible and I can see the animal is interested in something beyond the frame.  He/she looks intense.  Very nice.

John Retallack:  This goes beyond a portrait or a grab shot.  It looks unrehearsed or posed, but your subject was aware of the camera.  Kind of a nice in between shot.  Your friend sounds interesting and his photograph says a lot about him, also.  Thank you for introducing us to him.

Trevor Cunningham
graffiti rock: I like your title, Trevor.  Are petroglyphs a type of graffiti?  Hundreds of years from now will society look at modern graffiti and think them valuable information from the past?  The markings on this rock are amazing.

Rob Talbot
Thingy: I may have missed this in a previous message, but what is your “Thingy,” Rob?   All kinds of things can be thought of just from this shape.  It’s interesting and that makes it a good photograph.

Bob McCulloch
At the Farmers Market:  This is definitely a spring picture.  Cheerful, bright colors and nice detail.  I can see this in a Burpee’s Catalogue.

John Palcewski
Not A Rose But Close:  I like the entire photograph, but especially the light and shadows behind the flower.  Including the hand in the photograph seems to give the photograph more of an emotional appeal.  This photograph is simple and clean and I am drawn to it.

Thank you to all who contributed to the gallery this week and thank you to Andy and staff for hanging the show.
