so, another week with a dearth of reviews...compels me to do one myself...
Bob McCulloch - Morning Ride
great use of color and perspective...I'm not even bothered by
the tilted horizon, ships can do that...
Bob Sull - Hot at work
nice photojournalistic shot...
Jim Snarski - Perched
loved it or I wouldn't have posted it...as an aside, the plant
the bird is perched on I was told is a Poison Hemlock...
John Palcewski - Vittoria
fair picture...perhaps could use a little more shadow/highlight
detail...what I assume is a satire aimed at people who, in your
opinion, post too much information with their photos falls a trifle
flat...
Ken Sinclair - When is supper?
the pensiveness of the dog tells the story...
Howard Leigh - Peter
so what's wrong with looking like an Arab?...excellent
character study...
Sherie Taylor - The Wave
doesn't evoke enough of a high wind day feeling for me...
Don Roberts - Temple Detail
I like this for an architectural shot...the white lantern face
compliments the white beam ends...
Michael Hughes - Proud Father and Happy Daughter
the sort of photo no family history should be without...came
out pretty well for a rephotographed photo...
Christopher Strevens - Just Sitting
a bit out of focus but none the less, a revelatory image...
thanks to Andrew Sharpe for the one other review this week and to all
who contributed...I learn something every week
