John, I'm not sure exactly how you mean "leaves me cold" since it can
be taken a successful projection of the cold day from me to you, or as
an emotional emptiness where I did not connect with you.
With images like these, it is said, people either really like them or
hate them. But your comment and my reply raises another question: how
much of art is emotional? When I came on the scene before the two
people came, I was struck by the intensity of the light and its play
on the stones and other objects. When the two people came, their
silhouettes and shadows were additional objects playing with the
light. That's why I snapped it.
