You can most surely use it on an imac, though.
By the way, you don't need to wait for the pen to set the custom functions...you can do it with the mouse. Then ditch the mouse and use the pen. Once you get used to it you'll never go back to a mouse. I don't even have a mouse on my desk any more.

Set the custom function buttons for the programs you use most often; you can program the buttons to custom functions for every program you use and they change on the fly. You can do the same with the scroll wheel.
