Members of the list:
PhotoForum is not a moderated list - it survives on the basis that its
members are adults and have a vested interest in seeing the list prosper and
to serve as a forum for civilized and helpful exchanges.
It is hoped that its members consider each other as friends and accept each
other as such and deal with various personalities and personal difficulties
in a helpful and supportive manner.
It is history that discussions related particularly to politics and religion
tend to ignite heated exchanges that eventually affect the peace and
tranquility on the list. Intentional goading and posting of inciteful
remarks is never welcome on any list. PhotoForum tends to be on the liberal
side in terms of accepting a moderate amount of off-topic postings but
purposeful posting of disruptive messages is highly discouraged and will
result in intervention by the list coordinator who is very adverse at
issuing punitive measures.
It is always sad when members decide to leave the group. In every case the
group loses a friend. That is never welcome and it is hoped that we can all
contribute and accept each other's foibles and idiosyncrosies (sp?) as we
would those of a buddy.
