Jeff Curto a professor at the College of Dupage puts his class out on I tunes for free if anyone is interested.  He is a very good speaker and frankly I enjoy these classes far more than most I paid for years ago.

Both these wiki pages have lists of source material on the history of cameras.

Both Canon and Nikon have historical resources on their websites.

The following I have always found very helpful, and sometimes overwhelmingly comprehensive. It's worth spending some time browsing through the many resources on the site.
