You stick the Rapidograph pen into the ink cartridge and suck up the ink, just like you suck it out of an ink bottle. ÂNot messy at all.

The principle seems sound, but getting it out of the printer cartridge and
into the Rapidograph might be messy (easier if you're using a continuous
inkfeed system of course).

Has anybody actually had problems with pencil signatures smearing in
shipping? ÂI haven't used pencil because they don't work on the papers I
find myself using most of the time, but pencil is widely regarded as
well-behaved over time, and is a good choice when it works.
