The principle seems sound, but getting it out of the printer cartridge and
into the Rapidograph might be messy (easier if you're using a continuous
inkfeed system of course).

Has anybody actually had problems with pencil signatures smearing in
shipping?  I haven't used pencil because they don't work on the papers I
find myself using most of the time, but pencil is widely regarded as
well-behaved over time, and is a good choice when it works.
