We do a lot of gallery and museum touring, experience much of what has been shared here, and have found this discussion to be illuminating AND helpful. I've made it in to a couple of juried shows within the past year or two, and NOT made it in to many more, and in almost every instance, I've been baffled by the entries, as has my partner, who has an extensive background as artist, art therapist, and art history teacher.
