Maybe the goal of the museum is to stimulate discussions on art work on
lists like ours.
My first reaction to the photo was the curator must have known someone in
the picture and I like Lea wondered why it was there as a work of art. But it
(the picture) spoke to others on the list so it must of have meaning to others
which I just didn't appreciate.

Museum is defined by wiki as an institution that houses and cares for a collection of artifacts and other objects of scientific, artistic, or historical importance and makes them available for public viewing through exhibits that may be permanent or temporary. Well that really hasn't for the most part been my experience at museums, though I am living in a place now where that is the case and based on my personal experience has been the exception |
