I spent 7 months fighting with a DSL router before I ran enough tests
to be convinced that it was the router and not the endless number of
possible connectors, ports and cables.
I suppose if I knew how to use that little machine that shows whether
an electrical signal is present I'd be ahead, but I've always left
that to the men in my life and now I haven't got one.
It's simultaneously amazing and irritating as hell how many skills
one has to have to navigate life now-a-days!
