This type of decorative paper is not for writing, but used for the
production of lamps. See

this webpage shows plants found locally. When I returned from Canada, I
bought some maple leaves just to see how it looks like when processed in
the same way. I photographed my mother-in-law's designs with the sheet
against a light. Otherwise, it looks dull and not translucent.
