D.L. Shipman
Bad feather day in Florida jungle: I love the humor, and regardless of the feathers' condition it is a beautiful bird. Is it yours, D.L.? Emily L. Ferguson
The mouth of Clark's Cove in New Bedford, MA.: A very restful image. I can smell the fresh air and hear the waves rolling in. The clouds cooperated perfectly for this image. Dan Mitchell
West Walton Church: I like this photograph very much. It has a cold look to it (the cement and blue tone), which sends a psychological message about the innards of churches - they aren't always what they profess to be (warm and welcoming). This photograph starts an argument in my head, which makes it interesting for me. Mark Harris
Karen and Liz: The message between mother and daughter is clear; they like each other {:-> Although not posed, yet not quite natural (they knew a camera was pointed toward them, I'd guess) this is a very nice image. Guy Glorieux
Family picture: I like the nice, warm feel (the golden glow) of family getting together. It appears everyone is having a good time, and begs the question - who is photographing whom? Yoram Gelman
Benches and Snow: I like all the detail in this photograph - the branches, the wire fence, the contrast between the water and snow. I see several "v" shapes which make the photograph interesting and it is well framed and composed. Very nice. Jerry McCown
Art Museum: I can see this photograph in the brochure for the show. The two women are really studying the art, and I can just see the expressions on their faces. John Palcewski
The Best Swimmers Drown: Very nice and well done. I'm off to read your story. Don Draper
2 together: I'm wondering - did you set this up, Don? The colors the couple are wearing go perfectly with the red background. This is a well done photograph. Nicely balanced, the colors are great. It's a fascinating image. Thank you to Andy and staff for hanging the show,
and to the photogrpahers for contributing.
