Yes, the contestants were mostly from abroad... And beyond! There's still a slim chance to salvage some of the sales in an upcoming tournament (with mostly same participants), but I rather not count on it too fervently.
Your comments reminded me of a joke in which a young boy comes to his dad with his face severely damaged and announces proudly "You should have seen what I did to his fist!".
