Andy having been there twice before myself, it may not be as bad as you think.  The good news is that your glasses refraction will be put in the implant in your eye.  You likely will not need much if any correction for distance.  That's the good news.  The bad news is that the surgery will make you need reading glasses.  Still vision should be good fairly quickly and recovery will hopefully go well.  Thankfully this surgery has a very small complication rate. (between 1 and 2 percent) Most find vision drastically improved.

Additional note: Due to cataract surger it may bot be possible to update this
exhibit venuew for a while until eyeglass prescription is filled later.

To participate in this activity send your contributions early and anything
you can do to prepare the photographs so they do not require additional
adjustment would be much appreciated. Especially keeping them near 100Kb in
maximum size. Please take an extra minute to abide by this request.
