Hi Andy,
My wife had cataract surgery on both eyes.  She needed reading glasses before and still does.  She didn't need distant vision glasses before and still doesn't.   The only reason she gets new glasses now and then is, uhh, vanity.  :-)     Styles change so.....

I've had cataract surgery on both eyes.  I needed reading and distant vision glasses before.  I still do but since my surgeries my prescription hasn't changed and its been five years.  I see things and colors better.   Recovery time was very short, I don't remember the exact lengths. 

One tip, if you don't have them, get a pair of swimmers goggles, you can get  inexpensive ones.   The reason for the goggles is that it makes it a whole lot easier to keep your eyes dry when showering. 

Now if there was a way to smooth out the surface of my right eye I'd be all set.

Additional note: Due to cataract surger it may bot be possible to update this
exhibit venuew for a while until eyeglass prescription is filled later.

To participate in this activity send your contributions early and anything
you can do to prepare the photographs so they do not require additional
adjustment would be much appreciated. Especially keeping them near 100Kb in
maximum size. Please take an extra minute to abide by this request.
