yes, I too am a fan of John Mortimer's writings ;)
I haven't done it before & just outside my photoshop skills, but
googling "change hair color in photoshop" yields some tutorials that
don't look to difficult. Remember, if you do it too good, you
girlfriend may keep asking for more favours, but I'm sure it's not your
first day on the job. ;)
