Marilyn Dalrymple-Chinese Gardens
Good balance and color. Maybe a step back would not have cropped the left edge as much. The branches top left and lower right on the outside of the wall merge with potted plants inside the courtyard to give impression of depth. Nice shot.

Trevor Cunningham - Kelly and dogs.
Lovely shot. Near IR always imparts a little mystery to a scene. Try that shot with out Kelly and the dogs. They are very strong competition for the scenery.

Emily L Ferguson - Abby , Whitby
Whitby Abby is an interesting site. The main ruins are large and stark and brooding. The arches contain some nice detailed carvings. This shot does not reflect either aspect. It is a record shot, of more interest to the photographer than the viewer.

Valery Firsov - Photographers
Wonderful! How could any one not smile at this shot. The expressions are precious. They would never have posed so naturally and relaxed. The skin tones are lovely. You made the shot from the girls eye level. Children and pets look more natural from their own altitude. Try holding your hand up to to the image to block most of the dark doorway and let the door jamb become the part of the frame. Cropping a little on the left side of the subjects, also, would leave a nice vertical. No? Yes?

John Palcewski - City of comics
Interesting location. I've seen a million news and fruit stands but the poster windows are unique. Colors are great. This looks as if it is an early morning scene. That is the best time for streets in a great city.

Christopher Strevens - The family
This has the look of an aged C-41 image. Colors are still decent. The comment is more than I needed to know. You do have the image. Due to a structure fire I lost the images of loved ones unseen for over forty years. Unseen for all those years but never forgotten. Never.

Greg Fraser- 3rd
Overcast days often result in these saturated colours. Would like to see more images from this event. Clean composition. The eye enters from the left and is led by the background crowd out to the right to, uh, well. Anyway the eye enters from the left and is led by the leading edge past turbines and under wing stores pods to, uh, well... There is just no escape, here is your basic Hoser in all his glory. Note the pristine foot gear, the fresh map in the hip pocket (to find the quickest route out of town), an ample frontal stowage area (for the beverages) suitably clothed in bright orange sartorial elegance and lastly, the glasses (for the odd bit of bird watching). How aboot that , aye?

Now before anyone takes umbrage let me proudly state I was for many years a certified, card carrying Hoser and was afforded all the privileges and responsibilities there of. But alas, due to a cowardly and unfair attack of the liver I am no longer able to hold up my end ... of the bar.Oh, and by the way there are a lot of legs in this image because there are a lot people many of whom have two. Oh, and by by the way anyone who thinks aux tanks are phallic symbols needs a cold shower or fresh batteries, depending.
