Leica on a D60?Practicalities!! But you're probably correct...
With regard to sharpness, I'd rather have a lens that was too sharp,
then get one that was soft and unusable for anything else. To get a lens
with a defocus built-in for more dreamy images your cost will rocket.
I/m sure there'll be a suitable photoshop action somewhere.

Or a nice Leica 80mm would be nice. ;)
Of course you might have to get the Leica to fit on the back of it,
but that's another thread.

One thing about macro lenses, they are usually tack sharp. This
could be less than a good thing for a portrait lens.

Nikon have just brought out their latest f=60mm macro lens. This
on a D60 would give a field of view equivalent to a 90mm lens,
perfect for portraits.
Alternatively, look at the Sigma f=70 macro or f=105mm macro
lenses. All ideal, and double up as a macro lens as well. Hard to
beat really!

Good day everybody,
A friend has purchased a Nikon D-60 and aske what a good
portrait lens would
be for this camera.
Advice would be appreciated.
