All,
Here are some thoughts on this week's gallery images. Rob Miracle: I like this image a great deal. The lighting and makeup give it an old-time glamour portrait feel. The model's face is very expressive. Guy Glorieux: A great panorama. The sky makes it look like the storm is still not quite over. Linda Buttstead: The cat has that "Who the heck is that big thing?" look. A great capture. Marilyn Dalrymple: What a beautiful slice of life. It can be so much fun to catch children in moments like this with outsized, adult stuff. Gregory david Stempel: This is nicely done. Please let us know if this is a direct capture or a composite. Either way I like the image. Emily Ferguson: I like the viewpoint on this photograph. I'm sure not many people shoot it from that location. Trevor Cunningham: I think you are trying to make a comment on the photograph "Piss Christ" which was not by Mapplethorpe. It was Andres Serrano who caught the wrath of the late 1980's backlash against public funding to artists. I would have found it hard to guess that's what you were tring to say without the title.
