In this case, the photo, apart from the protruding plank, has been successful.  There wasn't a particularly high level of excitement beyond what the people gambling on the event were feeling (these guys would give a shout every time the bulls cracked skulls).  It's one of those things that happens at every funeral, it almost seems like a dying tradition, but is quite far from it.  Spaniards build stadiums for bullfights, these folks do it in their front yards.

The roof is a perfect example of the traditional architecture in the area.  The houses are shaped like saddles, and intricately decorated with the colors black, orange, red, and white...the designs reminded me of Roma caravans.

I guess you had to be there to feel the rumble and the excitement. Although
the people in the photograph don't seem to express much interest in the
fight. They are, indeed, indifferent. There is too much stuff at top. That
intruding board is a distraction. The roof is interesting.
