Ouch!: I really like the black and white, stark contrast of this image. It's very powerful. For whatever reason it reminds me of the illustrations in old "civics" books. Fascinating!. Emily L. Ferguson
splitting wood at Ken and Shirl's: Your heartwarming commentary is as good as your photograph, Emily. We hear so little about gentle kindnesses. It's nice to know that people still care about each other. Thank you for sharing. Herschel Mair
Quite frequently I'm surprised at the wonderful architecture in shopping malls. Although I wouldn't want to live with the huge yellow spill in my home it's striking in this environment. Nice framing and composition, Herschel. Jim Snarski
My Little Chickadee: This little guy stole my heart immediately. You caught a great moment in nature, with the water drops on his/her tail and the sparkle in its' eye. This photograph should end up on a greeting card, at the very least. Bob McCulloch
Bruschi waiting: He is so intense - and intelligent looking (I'm sure he is intelligent and doesn't just look that way). The window lighting is perfect. Great shot. Pini Vollach
smithy workshop: When first viewing this photograph the chaotic-ness (I'm not sure that's a real word) bothered me, but as I studied the image more, I began to see the patterns within the sections (the ropes act as dividers for me) and I liked the photograph more. It's a slice of life (someone's working environment), reality-type of image. Very interesting, when studied. Christopher Strevens
Restoration Workshop: Nice composition, framing and lighting, Christopher. There is a good balance within the frame, and it's interesting to look at. The subject matter is also unusual. Tim Mulholland
Wedding Photographers: Very comical, and bravo to you for being brave enough to shoot weddings. You need a cool head and a sense of humor to be a wedding photographer and you obviously have both. Elson T. Elizaga
Isay, Pinpin and Giselle: Precious little faces. The leaves don't bother me at all, but darkening or removing the red flowers would help and I find the green lid(?) in the little girl's hand distracting. They all look like such happy, healthy children, who wouldn't enjoy this photograph? Andy, you've provided this service to PhotoForum
members for so long (12 years?) there is no real way to thank you for all your
efforts. Please just know how enjoyed this site is, and how much pleasure
it brings even though we don't always comment or contribute.
