"With the self-timer in C lenses, the exposure is made approximately 8 seconds after the release is depressed. Self-timer exposures are made by setting the flash synchronization lever on the left side of each lens to V. The lever cannot be moved without releasing its lock. This requires two hands. It is purposely made rather difficult."
