We are having a very exciting, acrimonious contest in our city for mayoral
and council seats and I'm involved in supporting "the best candidates."
I've also taken a few days to attend conferences and visit the kids. I do
view the gallery and read messages, however. I'm always interested in
PhotoForum members and you are never far from my thoughts.
It's good to be busy.

I've been on vacation in Seattle and came home to a flood of work, taxes,
interesting things going on with friends, things like that.
It's always good to get away, better to be home.

There must be things distracting us on the forum. I know I've become

In addition I've also been frequenting a wooden boat forum which permits
lively and too often acrimonious discussion of the hot- button topics -
religion, politics, nikon vs canon and mac vs PC. The forum is an
excellent example of what happens when intelligent people do engage on
the frays of those topics and, I think, quite healthy in our carefully
politcally correct society.
