Thank you for your help and suggestions,
James. I think I"ll give the regular oils a chance and see how they
work. If nothing else, I can work out my frustrations over the Marshall's
tubes{:->

Paints?
Marilyn:
Forgot to add that the little caps are sticking
because the oil paint is drying out and becoming hard ( but you already new
that ). So, carefully rinse the caps out using turpentine or other
solvent to get the threads clean and wipe the threads on the tubes to get them
clean also.
Then they should not freeze solid in the
future.

James

Can anyone here give
me a reason why I shouldn't use a good brand of regular artist's oil paints

photographs? The tiny tubes of Marshall's,
that split open and squirt paint everywhere when I try to twist off a stuck
tube lid, have caused me to run out of patience. Marilyn ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ "It is never too late
