OK, after the initial enthusiasm roused by Guy´s plea, comments seem to have kind of ebbed out again. Let´s try to improve this week! Here´s my modest attempt:

The PhotoForum members' gallery/exhibit space was updated JUN 30 2007. Authors with work now on display at: http://www.rit.edu/~andpph/ gallery.html include:

A bunch of heavy-weights, but also a nice family photo... I can´t make up my mind whether the saturation is a bit low, or it´s just a feeling of dust and drought (but the background seems to be on the boggy side). Especially like the way the backlighting gives shape to, and separates the animals.

Howard Leigh - The Prince Albert Memorial London
Indeed, the profile works quite well here, as does the concentration on detail. Looks like he´s holding a folded laptop in his right hand.....;-)

                Bob Sull - STEPS
With my arthrosis, this image interprets my subjective impression when confronted with almost any flight of steps.... No kidding, it does look like a dead end. I´d have burned-in the roots and trunk on the extreme left, as well as the closest few steps.

Emily L. Ferguson - magnolia acuminata Elizabeth
It does look different from most magnolias I´ve seen, but being a hybrid explains that (I wasn´t aware you have wild growing magnolias in the Appalachians; it´s a part of the US I´ve never had the opportunity to visit, regrettably). Anyway, I like the harmonious colours.

Valery Firsov - Last year`s grass
Beautiful! These are the kind of dead, white grass that most of us spend a lot of time removing when shooting flowers in the wild; you made them the subject of a well-composed image, with a pleasing, muted colour scale. Like it a lot!

Roy Miller - Moon Rise On French Riveria
Very far removed from the "traditional" photographic language, indeed. That´s no objection, of course, the result is quite pleasing. Would make a nice mural.
