Trevor, I've bought several "factory refurbished" Dells from both Dell and overstock.com. All have worked exceedingly well, except for the power connector, which is a Dell specific problem. Batteries are always a problem with laptops, and my experience has been that the batteries that come with refurbs are about as reliable as new ones. I buy factory refurbished computer component instead of "new" ones--I suspect, but can't prove, that quality control is more stringent.
