I also think the initial image was made to look worse than reality, with the girl's expression, demeanor and so forth. I think I tend to look past that, that is, I try to imagine how she'd look on a normal day when she's not trying to be ugly. From that viewpoint I actually thought she was quite pretty. I hate to see a lot of makeup on women, you can't beat natural beauty. The final makeover image kind of bothered a bit in that the eyes looked dead, somewhat soul'less...maybe the result of too much Photoshop; whereas in the original she still at least looked like a living person. I doubt I could look my hubby in the 'mouth' if he lost his : front teeth and did nothing about it. : As far as photography is concerned though, it would be really crude to send a : PS photo to someone and the real thing was less than 1. all their front teeth, : 2. no big things growing conspicuously off of the face, 3. most of their hair, : etc. It just goes back to the thread that has run recently concerning truth in : photography. I found the first impression of the young lady such that she was more familiar to me than the symmetrical long necked final output and as a consequence, more appealing. k
