Re: RGB printing

I can't speak authoritatively on the subject but I have had good results both with postcard printers who asked for a CMYK file and another who wanted RGB. I noticed that when I switched to CMYK from RGB in PS the colors seen on the screen seemed duller and not so saturated. But the postcards turned out OK ... well, acceptable to me. The one time I difficulty (and 38 will see the result) was when I prepared a B&W image as RGB because the printer wanted RGB. They could not hold the neutrality of the image from the beginning of a 2000 postcard run through to the end. The reprint was better but still showed small variations. It was good enough for me.

cheers,
andy
