The offset is that I have recently lost the whole
content of five CDs created six years ago. They have become
unreadable and just won't respond to any attempt to release their data.
No other backups. Rats... -:(

I recently experienced the loss of over 300 images
I had stored on two hard drives. I now store things on a Sandisk Cruzer
and two hard drives.
(My back ups are plastic boxes with a 4X6 hard
copy of each image.)
