Presumably if you scanned them as a strip you then save the file as a tiff using File>Save As from Photoshop. Then you use the Crop tool to separate them into individual files.

But I've never used a flatbed to scan film so I don't know for sure.

I hope you scanned them at 2400 dpi at least, if not twice that.
