Any newspaper worth its salt can put in a byline, which is basically
all you want. Ask to speed directly to the photo editor and see if
you can get them to do that much.
But, keep in mind that if the article is successful in one paper it
may end up going out on a wire service to other papers, and then you
really need to have your name on the pix. So make sure you transmit
the pix with the IPTC info filled in in each image and with a cover
email asserting your rights in all cases to the pix.
