Just today, I received an email from a friend who is a correspondent of a national newspaper here in the Philippines. He has written an article about the partial destruction of an archaeological site in my city. I happened to have photos of the site and the relics. He said the newspaper editors want to have the photos printed, but they don't want to recognize me as the photographer. I asked my friend to convince the paper that the right thing to do is to acknowledge the effort of the photographer. But he just told me that the paper has refused to do so. He wants me to give in for the sake of "our cause", which is to distribute information about how the government has neglected our heritage site. What is your take on this matter? Pictures of the site, for those who haven't seen them yet, are in http://heritage.elizaga.net. Elson
