If my memory serves me well, it was Luis Gottardi who organized the 1st
exchange and the archives of the list may still have the emails on the
topic.
I think it was he who compiled the name list of all participants and who
split them into groups of 10 people. A group leader was responsible to get
the list of postal adresses from/to each group member.
A deadline was set to get pictures out in the mail and the group leader was
responsible to follow-up with each member.
I hope this helps. I'd be glad to participate in the exchange.
Best,
Guy
P.S. We've done this kind of exchange on the Pinhole list on several
occasions with great success.

I think that the groups were broken down to about a dozen each and the
names/addresses were collected by one of our members who then shared the
addresses with the members of each group as they were formed/filled. I
still have a gallery of the last such exchange I participated in - but I
never made its availability known due to ... never mind why.
Do we have a volunteer to compile and organize addresses of those who want
to participate in a signature or "signature avec image" postcard exchange?

How did we handle the list of names and addresses of participants for our
last post card exchange?

Marilyn,
I think it is a good idea but I wonder if every participant is ready to
produce about 40 postcards of the work they published in the book - or
even if they could, could they all afford to pay for international
postage associated with sending 40 postcards overseas. But let me not
dampen enthusiasm for the exchange.
We could have included everyone's signture in the book ... but I did not
think of that! Hopefully there will be another time and maybe then.
cheers,
andy
