My first impressions on this week's gallery > Emily L. Ferguson - Fresnel lens in Heceta head light I really like the composition - all the intersecting lines... those blinds must produce an interesting light in the room . > Herschel Mair - Aerial view of minaret and palms Ah, the Golden Rules rules supreme in this shot. Love the way the sunlight hits the minaret. It positively glows. > Roger Eichhorn - Rusty Branches Interesting coral like fungus. I would have liked a little closer crop leaving out most of the sky. The spider web is a nice touch together with the texture of the fungus. > Marilyn Dalrymple - Pear Good composition and contrasting textures... a little more focus on the pear maybe? > Jeff Spirer - Couple and Snake Woman meets snake. Wonderful (almost literal) black and white shot... all the different patterns... just too cool. > Per Ofverbeck - Nike You fiddled well and caught all the charm of this little pixie of a girl. Sweet... > Kostas Papakotas - Tim Scott MacDonald I almost can hear the music.... great angle... microphone is perfect... it all fits. > Jim Snarski - Pipevine Swallowtail Spring is in the air and obviously fluttering all around you that day. Nice curving line of the flower stem bend by the "weight" of the butterfly. Just wished for a little more picture on top and less on the bottom. Thanks a lot to all the contributors and the folks, who so graciously host this gallery. Have a wonderful Easter and Passover and if you happen to celebrate neither, have a great weekend! Renate
