I learned something interesting today! SD cards and MMC cards are much of a muchness bar the digital rights management stuff embedded in SD cards. What I *didn't* know was that the (often cheaper) MMC cards are largely interchangeable with SD's, subsequently they can be used in many cameras in place of SD cards. So there's no need to avoid the cameras that use SD - if you can get the camera to work with a MMC card the whole issue of scrambled SD's becomes irrelevant k
