BTW, a true macro lens is a "flat field lens" meaning that if you shoot a, postage stamp for example, the entire frame will be in focus. This is not the case in "macro focusing" lenses that are not true macros. Many years ago when Vivitar was a highly respected aftermarket lens maker they used the term "not to distant" for their macro focusing lenses. A neat term but it never caught on. Bob |
