Hello and thank you for your comments about my photo in the gallery. A
series would be interesting and it's something I've been thinking of doing
for several years. I guess it's time I get busy, huh?

I'd like to see a series of these "ghosts". It would make a good
project and your are off to a fine start. They'd look nice as prints
too.
The sticker denotes the love-lorn red pepper's pedestrian status (wears
tacky designer labels) setting it apart from the classy Salon pepper.

D.L. Shipman: Beautiful detail in the feathers and nice color, but I
want to see his/her eye. If the shot had been taken over the bird's left
shoulder (facing the camera) it may be a little more satisfying. Just my
opinion. I like the soft, lighter green background.

Querida: Neat idea, with the black and white pepper in the background
and the bright read "live" pepper in the foreground. The black
background sets it all off. Very nice, For me, the label on the red
pepper is distracting, but I'm sure it serves a purpose for the
photographer.

Purple Bottle: What a great purple bottle (I hope you grabbed it and
saved it dor future photos). You did a good job of arranging all the
components, Don. The off-center green bottle is the one that holds my
attention, however. It adds tension - I feel like it's about to slip
out of place and shatter into the bottles below it. Nice photograph -
very interesting.

It's a $1.50: It looks like whatever the three men are discussing is
much more intriguing than the price of $1.50. I'd love to be a fly on
the outside of the truck and hear what they are saying (this photo brings
out the voyeuristic tendencies in me).

floating in space: Great ingenuity, Kostas. To make a cloth on a
scanner into a free-floating object in outer space (and the dust bits,
stars or planets, yet) took imagination. Nice job.
Roger Eichhorn
Egret Flock: What beautiful forms and shapes the birds make, Roger. I
think if the photograph were cropped to just the seven birds in the
center, it would be a beautiful image. The gentle, curved shapes of
their wings while in flight are fascinating. Great job.

Motion: I could have added a little more information - huh? There are
many fields fenced with barbed wire in my area and the fields are
sometimes covered with plastic. When the wind blows some pieces of
plastic take flight and catch on the barbed wire - it looks like dozens
of ghosts are holding on to the fence. Anyway. The photograph is a
piece of plastic, caught on barbed wire, and being whipped around by the
wind.

yet another winter flower experiment: A beautiful photograph, Emily. I
like the soft colors against the pale background, but I'm wondering how
the flower would look against a dark (black?) background. I love the
detail and gentleness of these images.
