it's reasonable to assume that any b&w film developer will give me direct reversal?

p.s. it's 20x24 and i'm excited to say--i've got a lot of it! before i get too excited about the film here, i have to remind myself, it may not be  in perfect condition.

I believe you have a film made by Kodak designed for duplicating B/W negatives. Development in Dektol does give you a direct reversal.
