Well, "once upon a time" I recall that a green filter was recommended for) portraits, since it gave nicer skin texture, but I suppose the spectral sensitivity of film has changed quite a bit, since I haven´t seen this advice for decades...

Anyway, in a situation that calls for ISO 3200, I certainly wouldn´t consider using any filter with a filter factor greater than 1...

And, of course, digital RAW would allow "filtering" after the fact.
