times with distilled water and dry in an oven at 80C after drying gently by touching on a paper towel. Put the cards on a dry paper towel while in the drying oven. It needs to be electrically heated. Alternatively place in a flow of air from a hair dryer.???

80C or F? 176 degrees might cause a problem, depending upon the card and how it was made. If you own a Palm V for example, they were bonded together with a double-sided adhesive that would surely melt at 170. It depends upon the construction of the card. So if you oven heat your P-V, it will often come apart.

Some internal parts of some products included shielding that was bonded to the PCB using low temp adhesive. At least in our case. If that moves, it can short out something. Be very careful folks unless you know how the cards are made.
