Hello,
It is only a miniature pocket camera but it is 12 Mpx (Fuji pix). I don’t take many pictures with it now because people don’t want them so no money means I stop making them. I tell stories as fiction, but really they are fact. Fact is stranger than fiction. My friend, and now she’s gone, was more to me than I realized. The world has polarized severely I fear another bloody war. We should photograph all of that. Photography can be used to educate in order to bring about justice. It can be used to show an aspect of life, to illustrate a seemingly unjust situation. For example, because Britain has shifted, along with most of Europe to the American health system, many people cannot afford simple dentistry. Like America the dentist asks the income of his patient before deciding on a course of treatment, in the USA this is normal, but here it is unexpected. As a result the British mouth has become decayed. I might try to photograph this situation. The same is true in Eastern Europe and mouths in Europe generally are in a far worse situation than when the Health treatment was “free”. My guess is that in the USA many poor have bad teeth. Medicine has gone like that all over and most people cannot afford treatment. We are now expected to sell our homes to pay for treatment. The destitution that results can be photographed.
Well now that oil is short, and everyone will feel the pinch, and the world recourses generally are running short and the global atmosphere is polluted and the global climate is changing. Well all this can be documented by photography.
The gravy train has stopped. But it is a nice hot humid summer day. Did I take a photograph today? May be I should take at least one snap of the local universe every day.
