I have to agree with Russ plus it makes her look bottom heavy, something no woman wants. Now what exactly were you thinking, Dan?

Honestly, it never occured to me, I was actually thinking far worse, so in
a sense it's a relief (no pun intended) to hear your explanation.

I can never look at that photo again in the same way! :-(

Yes she is a pretty girl...........

I am in no way am trying to insult you personally.

But to put it bluntly............

And in my own opinion.................

She looks like she is ready to have a bowel movement.

Why is that? What on earth is wrong with the pose? Is there something
showing that shouldn't be that I missed? Or perhaps I should have posed her
standing up, with one leg slightly bent at the knee, and also slightly
crossing over the other leg, while she has both hand raised holding the
back of her head, which is tilted back with her eyes closed, in high heels?
The beautiful nude in nature? And popped her with an on-camera flash,
because she is such a pretty girl and why hide it? Is there a figure
photography rule book that I should check out?

Is my photo even an example of figure photography? What IS "figure
photography"?

By the way, have you ever noticed how utterly boring traditional figure
photography has become?

thanks! :)

Such a pretty girl. You have a great opportunity to make good pictures.
This pose is one of the DO NOT DO in the realm of figure photography.
Sorry, it's awful for a great sense of light.
