Portrait framing is a tough call. I enjoyed the pictures by Brett Weston of Ansel Adams where he cut off the hair. I simply don't see why photographers cannot reduce the space above a person's head. Lauren has a great expression and truly looks like she's about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime.

Personally, I love food pictures and especially fish. The more fish in one frame the better, for my eye and mind just cannot stop scanning around the frame.

I'm not one for children. Pictures of other people's children especially . . . and eating . . . well not it!

Great sense of color. I can feel for those free, really free bugs. Nice picture for any wall, too.

Sue

Now here's a well framed action picture. Maybe a family photo but so well captured. Action, composition, resolution, expression. A very nice picture in every respect. Thanks for posting this one.

Such a pretty girl. You have a great opportunity to make good pictures. This pose is one of the DO NOT DO in the realm of figure photography. Sorry, it's awful for a great sense of light.

Simplicity in design is always entertaining. And, isn't photography a form of entertainment?

You captured the complex delicacy of flowers so well. It haunts me with such wonderful composition that allows me to enjoy it and remove my eye. Almost like caressing a flower on the stem to enjoy it without having to disturb nor pluck it from it's stem.

Talk about behind the scenes! A welcome view into the world of both newlyweds and wedding photography. Thanks for posting this entertaining picture.

Tim

What makes this work for me is the scale. Is it a model or a real airplane? The reality of it that launches my mind into a world of fantacy is what makes this a work of art.

Bob

Nice going! Timing in nature photography is what makes an important picture. And bees ARE social animals.

Steve

Oh! What genius! What opportunity! Only two of these cameras in the whole world! And, to post this picture for the group . . . how generous!

:)
