Ok
I used to keep my custom white balance photos on the card so I could just go
to them made it very easy but I was not able to format the card, one day I
was taking some interior shots and the thing locked up, I lost every photo
on the card, when I called and asked questions that was the first thing they
asked me, since that time I have formatted the card before each use and have
not had a problem with it.
I also have a friend who has a card that locks up on him at the same spot on
the card, he is able to get the images but it takes a lot of work, so it is
possible that there is a bad spot on the card.

Yes I do format the card everytime I use it. I havent
tried yet. But I will keep you posted. Couple of
people already suggested that I send the camera back,
but sure how the warranty works as its still under 1
year since I bought it. So looks like I will have to
take it to the store where I bought it.
