Bert Hardy made this point when someone challenged him, as a seasoned 
pro, that he only produced good photos because he had the best 
equipment! (No double entendre intended...)
So he got a Kodak Box Brownie (I've still got one but can't get the 620 
format film) and went out and produced some amazing images of girls at 
the seaside.
I think that this was one - hope I'm right
